From April to October 2023 Deputy Director Major Projects at Metro for Siemens Mobility. From Nov 2018 to March 2023 Project Director in Vienna at Siemens Mobility Austria, for the London Underground DTUP Metro Mega Project - developing and delivering the 94 9-car-trains for Piccadilly Line. This is the frist part of a 3 Options contract with Bakerloo and Central line to follow. As vice president commuter rail within Siemens from April 2015 to Sept 2018 Jens Chlebowski was the assigned project director of the Rhein-Ruhr-Express (RRX) Mega Project, which delivered 82 Desiro High Density Trains, a state of the art Train Depot and provide full Service over 32 years of operation to the operators in the metropol-region Rhein-Ruhr. Delivery of trains has stated end of 2018 and finished 2020. As vice president of sales & projects from 2008 to march 2015, Jens Chlebowski was responsible for management of world wide sales and project execution of the locomotive business segment. This is a near one billion dollar business with a team of 145 employees, comprising platform locomotive solutions as well as customized locomotives or traction component business. Main achievement in that position was the successful implementation of a new marketing strategy for a new locomotive platform – called Vectron- that made it a brand in the european loco market and is praised by customers for its unique flexibility. Jens Chlebowski joined Siemens as a development engineer in 1990. He has held several project management and general management positions throughout his career, ranging from OEM management with Taiwan suppliers, software process improvement projects, bid manager for south Africa (with EMD), locomotive project manger, sales responsible for Germany and European leasing company and now vice president for sales and projects. Personal strengths are outstanding communication skills as well on the stage as in direct customer negotiations or employee talks, profound technical understanding of railway technology and sought after coaching skills. He applies NLP principles in day to day actions and drives his personal development as well as in others. Jens Chlebowski earned a diploma in communication-electronics from Nürnberg Fachhochschule. He is born 1964, married and lives near Erlangen, Germany.
