About Jens Renner

After extensive experience in research, both in academia and industry, I changed to Product Management. From there I moved to Strategic Marketing in Asia, where I led a diverse team. Our responsibilities included development of market strategies and preparation of investment projects. Furthermore, we were responsible for business optimization projects, like the regional implementation of pricing principles and tools. Subsequently, I took over the unit Asset and Margin Management, Home Care, I&I and Formulation Technologies, Care Chemicals in Europe. Main responsibilities included development of our portfolio and corresponding assets, as well as P&L responsibility for our business in Europe. Currently I am resposible for product management of specialty intermediates, a broad range of products enabling solutions in a huge variety of industries, from Pharma to automotive, agrochemicals, plastics and personal care applications. Sustainability is a key driver for our business!
