About Jenta K.

Graduated December 2018 from Samuel Merritt University's MSN-Family Nurse Practitioner program and previously with a BSN from California State University San Marcos (2012). Additionally, I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from San Francisco State University (1995). Beginning in March 2022, I had the distinct honor of providing Neurology and Sleep Medicine care for veterans, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations in Texas and throughout the United States. Recently, I was also proud to be part of the CISD School nurses team for two years working with elementary school-age students. Previous experience includes being the sole provider in local urgent care in California with occasional coverage for primary care practice; Executive Director for LivHOME (now Arosa) supervising Riverside County, California; and an RN on the Med/Surg/Telemetry unit for 2 1/2 years at a STEMI Receiving Center and Stroke Ready Hospital as designated by the Riverside County Emergency Medical Services Agency. I believe in transparency in care, patient and family education, and collaboration with all disciplines as well as ensuring patients are part of their healthcare decisions. I am compassionately dedicated to what I do and strive to be the best patient advocate and care provider with every patient, every day. During my graduate program, I had the honor of caring for Palliative and Hospice patients with over four hundred Hospice and Palliative care inpatient and home care hours and 300 hours of outpatient clinic experience caring for those across the life span. Moreover, I was privileged in providing care at Lestonnac Clinic as a volunteer RN and later certified FNP for those uninsured within our community.
