About Jerad Miles
During my time in the U.S. Marine Corps, I became enthralled with fitness. Not until later, when I was studying Exercise and Wellness at Arizona State University, did I fully come to realize the power of nutrition in the fitness equation. I immediately switched my major to dietetics, just days before the deadline, to sign up for the next semester's classes. Never have I made a better decision. I work at the Northern Arizona VA Hospital as a clinical dietitian, and am a Certified Specialist in Gerontological Nutrition (CSG). The enjoyment of working in a hospital while serving veterans is extremely rewarding and satisfying. As a science, the future of nutrition is bright, and I look forward to being as big a part of it as I can be.
