About Jeran Boyd

I've had the opportunity to work within many industries like hospitality, entertainment, and Tech, which allowed me to be well-rounded in being resilient when facing ambiguity. The companies I have developed and learned professionally from are FiveStar AudioVisual, Montage Resort and Spa, Snap, UCLA Health DGIT, & Apple. Working in hospitality for FiveStar allowed me to work cross-functionally with companies like Global Robotics, Genentech, Google, eBay, Meta, Netflix, Christian Dior, & many others. Attending pre-con and post-con meetings allowed growth opportunities to participate in project management, event coordination, & operations management to ensure delivery on expected deadlines, resulting in increased revenue & trust between the brand and client. While I worked in entertainment roles like Production Assistant, Camera Assistant, Director of Photography, & Producer roles exposed me to working with different people daily. In my experience assisting in production projects "The Last Samurai of Ezo"(Independent Film), Hoax (Senior Student Film), City at War (Independent Film), and ActRight (Student Commercial). I sharpened my organizational skills to maintain day-to-day operations & contribute to an inclusive and diverse environment increasing equity and inclusion & contributing to a safe space for creativity. I currently work for Apple as a Genius. My time with Apple has allowed me to wear many hats. Starting as a Sales Specialist enriched my customer focus skills, understanding of the products & services, & culture within a retail setting. Furthering my Apple journey, I had the opportunity to advance my career within apple as an AHA Support Advisor, Maps Analyst, Technical Special, Technical Expert, and my current position as a Genius. In these roles, they have allowed me to rebuild consumer relationships with the brand, giving responsibilities for multiple projects, Train and mentor other employees onboarding, and a platform to give back to the community through volunteer events. I recently participated in a Digital Marketing Program with a non-profit organization called COOP. I completed 200+ hours working on Excel, SEO, Programmatic, & Campaign Management. I acquired during the program certifications in Google Ads, Google Analytics, Meta BluePrint, & Apple Search Ads. During the end of the program, I worked cross-functionally with my peers in building a Campaign Strategy for a business called PoppyShop Handmade Trinkets. I plan on joining a creative & inclusive team working in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or Project Management.
