About Jeremiah Johnson

I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps during my senior year and chose to make that my primary career until I retired in 2014. I have served as an Infantryman, Recruiter, Platoon Sergeant, and Operations Chief and Tactics Instructor. I deployed in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom to Iraq and Afghanistan (2) times each. I retired from the service in June 2014 and moved back to the Boise, Idaho area. I was hired by Northrop Grumman Corporation in July 2014 to work as a Product Trainer II on an Information Systems Operator Training Team (ISOTT) conducting platform instruction on Mission Command Systems and digitally integrating them for Command and Control (C2) exercises. In September of 2015 Parsons Corporation was awarded the Mission Command Training Support Program contract and Boise Idaho was sub contracted to Tapestry Solutions. At this time I became a member of a Doctrinal Training Team as a Military Analyst My duties were to help instruct and assist Army National Guard Soldiers and Staffs in the Military Decision Making Process.In July 2016 I was selected to become a Senior Training Expert for an Infantry Division and several other units of the California Army National Guard. My duties are to assist the Unit Commanders and Soldiers by identifying and analyzing current training strengths and weaknesses and assisting them in developing and preparing future training strategies to enhance overall collective readiness. I assist with individual Mission Command Systems training, Military Decision Making Process training, Exercise Design, Command Post Layout and Operations, and Knowledge and Information Management.In October of 2018 the contract was awarded to a new company Valiant Integrated Services. I remained an Enlisted Senior Trainer with a sub contractor at Capstone Corporation until starting a new position in Feb 2019 as an MCIS System Engineer on a Technical Support Team with Valiant Integrated Services.
