About Jeremiah Kirkpatrick

I worked in the transportation and security industries for years while maintaining a home networking lab. I decided a few years ago to utilize those self-taught skills professionally and have been working on degrees and certifications to further improve and document my skills. It was a tough choice between cybersecurity and software development, so I chose both. I achieved my B.S. in Software Development in 2023, and I'm presently 25% of the way through my M.S. in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance at Western Governors University. My pursuit has earned me one degree, several certifications, and a few certifications I achieved on my own. I enjoy the challenge of both IT paths, and thanks to the complexity of the different cybersecurity tools in use today, they both work synergistically with one another. I strive to expand and utilize these skills in a challenging and professional setting.
