About Jeremie Pfister
Born and grew up in Geneva (Switzerland), where I completed all of my mandatory education and fulfilled my military duties. Moved to Tucson (Arizona) in 2012 to complete a B.Sc. in Geology (with a Mining Engineering minor) at the University of Arizona and then moved to Sudbury (Ontario) where I earned a Ph.D. in Ore Deposit Geology at the Harquail School of Earth Sciences studying granitic pegmatites as ore deposits. Minerals have always been my passion, but I am now interested in a more holistic approach of ore deposits with emphasis on geochemistry, mineralogy, stable isotopes and fluid inclusions to investigate the processes behind the formation of such deposits and facilitate their exploration for the mining industry. Pegmatites, as well as lithophile elements deposits, rare-metal deposits and gem deposits are of particular interest to me.
