Jeremy Birk is a strategic and visionary leader with over 20 years of expertise in early childhood, K-12, and adult education. Jeremy has successfully founded schools and educational programs, overseen multi-site school networks, and guided individual schools and organizations through visioning, strategic planning, resource optimization, technology implementation, program development, and licensing/accreditation processes. He is a trusted, diligent, and thoughtful leader with a track record of fostering collaboration and respect, enhancing operational efficiency, championing equity, diversity, and belonging, and improving learning impact. Jeremy is the Director of School Services for Wellington College International, a growing network of premier, non-profit schools across Asia. In his role, he leads major, network-wide strategic initiatives and provides comprehensive support for school improvement and innovation efforts for all schools in China. Before joining Wellington College International, Jeremy was Executive Vice President for Spring Education Group (SEG), a for-profit, multi-brand network with 220+ private schools spanning Preschool to Grade 12 across the United States and internationally. In his role, he led the development and execution of the academic vision and strategy for a portfolio of thirty schools and the highest-value brand within SEG. His leadership was pivotal in driving educational and operational transformations, ensuring the attainment of exceptional academic and financial results. Additionally, Jeremy was Director of Innovation and Research at the United Nations International School (UNIS) in New York City. Operating under the auspices and aligned with the mission and principles of the United Nations, UNIS is a singular school globally known for its exceptional cultural richness and global learning community, representing over 95 spoken languages and 130 nationalities. Throughout his career, Jeremy has worked on five continents as a teacher, consultant, leader, and school network executive in diverse programs and private schools in China, the United States, Switzerland, Kenya, Rwanda, and Colombia. Jeremy's academic qualifications include an M.Ed. in Education Leadership from Columbia University (New York), an M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction from Buffalo State College, and a B.A. in History and English from the University of Michigan.
