About Jeremy Bradburn

Nolan Ryan once said, “Enjoying success requires the ability to adapt. Only by being open to change will you have a true opportunity to get the most from your talent.” When I played lacrosse in college I was asked to play different positions that were left unfilled by graduated seniors. This was the first place I had to learn to adapt and in doing so I looked at it as an opportunity. I learned to put in the hard work to gain knowledge in positions I have not done previously. In doing so I learned to reach out to individuals who were good at their respective craft to catapult my success. I learned to listen to input and accept criticism on how to improve myself on and off the field. I have since used this approached to other situations in a professional setting. The diverse roles I have had the pleasure of learning, produced business acumen by vast groups I have been involved with. The generalist human resources experience helped produce approach-ability and problem solving. This is coupled with the uncertainty of the next role I will fill, I have had to be patient with what will be asked of me next. Through the hodgepodge of roles I have filled it has produced trust and accountability from those individuals. I would like to build more knowledge through the diverse roles to promote a view change of human resources. To change the negative view human resources can have to a positive, involved, and human interaction. In turn building talent that trust the direction and feel transparency in an organization.
