About Jeremy E. Miller

Jeremy received his initial massage therapy training from the Baltimore School of Massage and his Bachelor of Science degree (Biology) from Shepherd College (now Shepherd University), completing both in 1997. In 2017 he completed the Master of Science in Human Anatomy & Physiology Instruction (MSHAPI) program through the New York Chiropractic College (now Northeast College of Health Sciences), graduating with honors. An enthusiastic and passionate instructor, he has taught classes in human anatomy & physiology, professional ethics, and massage legal aspects, research and hands-on technique classes for some of the most respected massage schools in the nation. Jeremy has actively volunteered for the massage therapy profession including acting as a school accreditation site reviewer with the Commission on Massage Therapy Accreditation, a member of the Ethics and Standards committee for the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork as well as an exam item writer for the National Certification exam. And from 2007-2014 Jeremy lead the ongoing effort to bring state credentialing to MN for Massage Therapists. Board Certified for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork and a Licensed Massage Therapist in Illinois, Jeremy was a staff massage therapist with Allina Health's Penny George Institute for Health & Healing in Minneapolis from 2005-2018 working full time as a member of the Inpatient team at Abbott Northwestern Hospital providing care at the hospital bedside throughout the facility with a focus on the physical medicine/acute rehabilitation and oncology units. In 2018, Jeremy accepted a new position - Massage Therapy Program Coordinator for Harper College in Palatine, IL. Jeremy lives with his family in the western suburbs of Chicago.
