Responsible for routing, testing, inspecting, cleaning and troubleshooting cable harnesses and electrical assemblies and leading a team of 8 other personnel as well as oversee and perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and inspections on SH-60B, C2-A and E2-C aircraft and subassemblies to ensure combat ready status and deployment capability to U.S. Atlantic Fleet air capable ships. Contributed to HSL-48 receiving the 2011 Expeditionary Talon award and the 2011 CHSMWL Arleigh Burke award as well as contributed to AIMD Norfolk receiving the 2006 COMNAVREG MIDLANT Community Service award for Personal Excellence Partnerships and the 2007 COMNAVAIRFOR Airspeed Site of the Year award. • Achieved 98% squadron mission completion rate by completing >200 maintenance discrepancies, performing a major phase inspection and replacing a main transmission assembly. • Instrumental in the qualification of 4 Collateral Duty Inspectors, 6 SH-60B Plane Captains and Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist personnel. • Achieved “on track” evaluation on 2011 COMNAVAIRFOR Aviation Maintenance inspection for vibration analysis, oil consumption, aviation gas free engineering and fuel surveillance programs. • Trained and managed 6 technicians in squadron aircraft maintenance and ensured qualification of personnel in vibration analysis program. • Saved work center 41L over 200 man hours/year by designing and fabricating a shadow tool container. • Ensured positive control of parts by designing and fabricating a template for flange bolt installation. • Assisted Fleet Integrated Supply Center save in Aviation Maintenance Repair funds. • Timely completion of >100 maintenance actions and meticulous maintenance/inventory of critical measuring tools resulted in 0 findings in COMNAVAIRLANT Aviation Maintenance inspection. • Operated vibration analysis equipment.
