Background
About Jeremy Freund
Climate scientist focused on market-funded projects that reduce emissions via direct financing of indigenous and forest communities. The multilateral climate finance model has proven to be ineffective in the climate battle, as the money rarely reaches the people who earned it. Wildlife Works' projects are successful because we not only fund Global South governments to support their climate goals, bur most importantly, the planet's essential workers: the communities who have been asked to protect their own forests.
