About Jeremy Jonsson

I am passionate about continuously learning. I am able to progress by gaining knowledge in different systems that my company supports. They create a map for success for each employee and the more you learn and pass certification exams, the more you can earn. The more you put in the more you get out. CCNA exam is next. I have been training in the martial art of Tae Kwon Do for over 10 years and hold a 2nd degree black belt. I have lower belts in Hap Ki Do and Hae Dong Kum Do (Korean sword) My positions with Verizon and now Converged Communications Systems stemmed from my job skills learned while I was a Marine. I served just over 8 years as a Tactical Telephone Switch Technician (MOS 2822). The military occupation specialty(MOS) 2822 is a two part skill. 2822s learn tactical as well as business phone systems. I learned ROLM pbx and Nortel pbx as well as Nortel applications while in the Marines and expanded my knowledge and training while with Verizon over 17 years and now Converged for over a year. I am a family man and enjoy spending time at home and in all manner of activities. We are very busy with work, sports, and church but still find time for recreation. Physical fitness is important to all of my family and we each make it a priority. My daughter will be attending Army basic training later this year so things are going to get interesting. Marine Corps and Army under one roof? Army / Navy game will be a big deal, can't wait.
