About Jeremy Lambert

A Native of South Carolina, Jeremy Lambert is an Ordained Bishop of the Church of God and a Board Certified Chaplain by the Association of Professional Chaplains. Jeremy is an alumnus of Lee University and the Pentecostal Theological Seminary where he holds both a Master of Divinity and a Master of Arts in Counseling. He is the Executive Director of Chaplain Partnership, leading spiritual care providers in the efforts to improve business performance and the healthcare industry. Since 2011, He has served Erlanger Health System and the University of Tennessee College of Medicine Chattanooga as Chaplain and Clinical Educator. He also served as the Certification Chair with the Association of Professional Chaplains for the states of Alabama, Arkansa, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee. It was in this capacity that Jeremy mentored clinical chaplains preparing for board certification. As Executive Director his role is to explore ways spiritual integration might improve health care and change the culture of medical education to be holistic. Through his research and curriculum development, he has designed strategies of spiritual care that enhance the patient experience, improve staff wellness and resiliency, and develop efficient productivity. With a proactive approach, these strategies of spiritual care focus attention to the professional development and well-being of nurses, physicians, and medical residents. In addition, this innovation to evidence-based spirituality continues to demonstrate the value added to the medical team and the institution’s bottom line.
