I am a professional engineer and urban transportation planner with extensive experience in software design and development, data management and analysis, transportation planning, and travel demand modeling. I have designed and implemented systems using SQL databases, GIS systems, web-based software, and the R statistical language. I have worked for local jurisdictions, a Metropolitan Planning Organization, a state DOT and the Federal Government. My most recent projects are focused on collecting and analyzing data about non-motorized transportation, scenario planning, performance-based planning, and new transportation technologies. My other areas of work include forecasting for NEPA studies, strategic planning models such as VisionEval, and development of planning strategies to manage complete streets, digital infrastructure, automated vehicles and shared mobility.
