I am a disciplined worker driven by a strong sense of conviction to what I do. No matter the task, I put forth my full and consistent effort in order to satisfy not only management's expectations, but my own. I hold myself to a higher standard than most and with that comes results. I have learned to excel in skills that I once never honed in fully - time-management, public speaking, growing my hard skills, etc. I succeed individually or within groups and fill the role of adviser or leader when called upon. In the jobs I have held, I have shown that I am versatile, well-rounded, and beneficial being utilized within several positions.I am charismatic and personable. Throughout my scholarly and professional career, I have been able to connect and network with thought-provoking and creative professors, peers, guest speakers, and co-workers. Each offer unique perspectives that cause me to consider other possibilities. People feel comfortable around me as I strive to keep the focus of the conversation on who I am talking to. Truly caring about people’s needs and desires leaves an impression that is genuine, which allows for a more authentic relationship that lasts.I like to solve problems and build relationships. I am an analytical thinker and with that comes great reason and thought. I am a triple checker when it comes to getting things right as my standards have no room for error. I’m also outgoing and sociable which gives me balance. I strive in roles of leadership as I feel the relationships I build come with respect. I am extremely socially competent and can read body language and social cues. I have often taken on the responsibilities of dividing work amongst members and guiding the team to the results we need. I am a firm believer that teamwork through collaborative leadership welcomes new ideas and leads to a successful work culture.
