Director for Osmose Europe, Australia & New Zealand managing the technical input / output for utilities of contact voltage findings. Interaction with electrical asset owners and on-site workshops to ensure Osmose contact voltage findings are understood. Electrical Engineer with previous experience of managing a series of remote Scottish Islands (Uist, Benbecula, Eriskay and Barra) electricity distribution network and power station. Finalist with The IET and The IAM in 2014, 2015 and 2017 at their annual global innovation awards. Stray and contact voltage detection innovator using a mobile asset assessment vehicle platform (MAAV) to the UK with strategy and findings shared at various Jodie Lane conferences (every year since 2014 and headline speech in 2018) in New York, USA hosted by EPRI/ConEd. Presented a paper at Princeton University's Ardlinger Center (New Jersey, USA) in 2016 on contact and stray voltage and underground cable losses and published in the T&D magazine. In conjunction with Princeton University, New Jersey, USA, published a report confirming my assumptions / statements for electricity losses associated with contact voltages not previously considered by electricity distribution companies (worldwide) that have the potential to save significant TWh / CO2. This is addressable losses on the electricity distribution network.
