About Jeremy Wright

I graduated from Hendrix College, class of 2006, with Honors Convocation, after studying theoretical physics and fine studio art, with an emphasis on oil painting. From there I spent some time as a post-baccalaureate student at the University of Arkansas, studying chemistry and biology. I was fortunate enough to be paid to participate in auto racing, as a young adult, and had wonderful career opportunities and experiences, related to motorsports and automotive restoration, which taught me diagnostics, very well.I was a partner in a classic automotive restoration shop from 2008 to 2018, and had a chance to employ my physics, engineering, diagnostic, and artistic skills. For my day job, I eventually found myself working as an IT and Financial Technologies contractor for FIS Global, the Department of Homeland Security, Intuit and a great many (thousands) US-based financial institutions, between 2010 and 2015.I currently spend my days as an ordained priest in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (we accept no pay for services), and a part-time public safety and security officer for the City of Little Rock Convention and Visitor's Bureau, and assist with two family businesses, Wright Properties and Chenal Customs and Classics. I wear many different hats, stay quite busy, and feel fortunate for the number and variety of activities I am engaged by.Life is like a hurricane!
