About Jeri Lynn Herbert

Recently graduated summa cum laude from Tulane University, where I earned my MSW and MSDRL, previously having attended Point Park University, where I earned a BA in Dance Pedagogy. My experiences in office management, customer service and support, counseling, community building, and running my own business have given me unique insight into both the administrative/clerical needs of both individuals and organizations as well as those pertaining to psychology and emotional intelligence; I am both capable in regards to technical and logistical needs while maintaining empathy, respect, and compassion. I have received additional training in disaster response and recovery, various aspects of DEI, and the arts. Formerly the President and Education Outreach Coordinator of the world's largest polyamory advocacy group, Open Love NY as well as the founder of Jersey City Polyamory and Alt Relationship Network, my current volunteer efforts include work with the Sharing Shelf, Feeding Westchester, and Volunteer NY.
