About Jerica Willis

Experience with EVV, claims processing, provider and member communication, customer service, developing standard operation procedures (SOP) working closely with management and clinical staff. I’ve assisted with training multiple new employees on entering authorizations and processing an individuals Person Centered Support Plan (PCSP) and action grams. My current position I resolve day to day issues with any of the above whether submitted from clinical, internal staff, and providers. Pulling reports for issues involving missing authorizations, diagnosis codes (ICD-10), or claims that need additional feedback or correcting. I love what I do, not just because I am good at it but also because I know I am assisting in making someone’s life better. We strive to keep our members in there homes and out of nursing homes. Not only is it cheaper for the state of Tennessee under Medicaid, but people tend to live more fulfilling lives when they can remain in their home around family and friends. We also support DIDDs individuals to get employment and/or housing outside of their caregivers home. To learn life skills as well. I have been working in this industry since November 2010, where I began as a temp for United Healthcare and now I am with Elevance (Amerigroup) since May 2016.
