Production/Quality Assurance/Sourcing Spent 9+ years traveling to apparel manufacturing facilities worldwide to inspect garment production facilities for compliance, train manufacturing and QA staff, and troubleshoot production problems. Experience in evaluating apparel manufacturing facilities for production quality, production capacity, and health/safety/labor compliance -Maintained an audit pass rate of 90% or better with apparel manufacturers using a 4.0 AQL, Level II sampling plan through factory travel and implementing quality action plans. Project Management/Organization -Developed several corporate quality standards manuals - including Digital standards for Technical Design, Minimum Construction requirements for all apparel categories, plaid matching requirements, and trim safety requirements for Children-Reduced product return rate by analyzing customer returns data, conducting wear tests, and evaluating competitive samples to improve fit and product performance-Collaborated with information systems software team to develop corporate specification organization and format for Technical Design department-Developed Women’s Active, Women’s Plus Active, Men’s, Big Man, Young Men’s, Boys 8-20 body types/dress forms for standardized fit development with manufacturers.
