About Jerome Friedrichs

I currently work as Policy Officer for the European Association of Development Agencies (EURADA), where I monitor relevant policy developments in the field of regional development at European level, study the landscape of European Regional Development Agencies, help lead EURADA's internal and external working groups and am involved in the organisation of EURADA's main annual events. In addition, I also lead EURADA's engagement in the two European circular economy projects Agro2Circular and FRONTSH1P as well as the Horizon Europe project PROTECT. I hold a Master's degree in the trinational programme 'Regional and European Project Management'(France, Germany, Czech Republic) that imparted me with profound knowledge in the fields of regional development, intercultural communication, and project management. The latter with a particular focus on the European level. Previously, I obtained a Bachelor's degree in History and German Literature at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Passionate about European cooperation and solidarity, I have always been drawn to experience cultural diversity, which has led me on study trips and abroad semesters in Christchurch, New Zealand (high school), Aix-en-Provence, France (Bachelor's), and during my Master's to Lorient (France), Zwickau (Germany), and České Budějovice (Czech Republic). Furthermore, I founded and manage an Alumni association for the trinational Master's programme 'Regional and European Project Management', supported by the Franco-German University.
