I am a multi-skilled Information Security professional who holds a Master’s degree (first class honour) in Forensic Computing and Cybercrime Investigations. I am a qualified ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor and I also hold a BA degree (Hons) in IT Management. With over 18 years’ experience working in IT Operations, IT Resilience and Cyber Security, my current role is Principal Information Security Consultant with a Dublin based information security organisation. Prior to this I was a senior consultant in the Middle East with a global risk assessment company. Before my move to the Middle East, I was a Data\Information Manager with responsibility for the security and integrity of information of the most confidential and sensitive nature working with the Irish Police force. Formerly, an IT Operations and Security manager, this role included Cybercrime investigations relating to data leaks, risk assessments and compliance management in relation to ISO/IEC 27001:2013.
