Experienced senior-level.NET software engineer seeking an opportunity to tackle challenging and interesting projects for a company that focuses on a quality end product, values an engaging user experience, is unafraid of utilizing next gen technologies and methodologies where they make sense, and has a realistic approach to expectations versus delivery. Having my roots in early 8-bit computing, I have worked through the decades since 1988 moving up through, and growing with, various technologies along the way. I have experience writing software in many languages, including CMOS 8502 and Motorola 68020/040 assembler, COBOL, Quick Basic, Visual Basic, C+ and most recently and extensively the Visual Basic, C# and ASP.NET offerings of the Microsoft.NET framework. I have been programming using the.NET framework since its release as an early beta in late having now amassed 13 years of hands-on experience with almost every facet of the technologies offered by the.NET framework. Over those 13 years I have been lucky enough to have been tasked with diverse development projects, ranging from point-of-sale software-to-hardware interfaces, real-time online transaction processing and inventory control, human resources management, to consumer-oriented product websites and customer facing web applications. These projects have also allowed me to garner expertise in almost all satellite systems that support these projects, such as Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Windows Server systems, DNS and IIS, and network topology to name but a few.
