About Jerri Bland

Jerri is the Founder of J. Lynne & Co. and has served as Deputy Chief Information Officer at Columbia University and Assistant Vice Chancellor for Enterprise Applications at UNC-Chapel Hill. After 20 years of implementing transformative technology in government and higher education, she now focuses on her work as an independent change leader, executive coach. As a change leader, Jerri takes a comprehensive approach to evaluating processes, optimizing personnel skills, and leveraging technology to enhance operational performance. She believes that a strong connection among people, processes, and technology is crucial for successful digital transformation. Jerri is a Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), and Six Sigma Green Belt. Jerri’s coaching philosophy centers on unlocking each person's inherent potential. She fosters a supportive environment where clients can explore goals, overcome obstacles, and achieve their aspirations through collaboration and trust. Jerri has a bachelor's degree from the University of New Orleans, a Master of Public Administration from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a doctorate in higher education administration from The George Washington University.
