About Jerrod Tuck

My love for computers began at an early age writing his first program in BASIC Programming Language on an Atari 1200XL in 1984. I was eleven years old and wrote a program that would ask the capitals of each state. At the encouragement of my late grandfather, I would also "play" with Lotus 1-2-3 after school on TRS-80's Models I-IV. After attending Oklahoma State University, I began my career working as a Systems Engineer for a small company in Oklahoma. I then joined BMC Software as a Systems Engineer 1998 which involved a lot of software development as well. During this time I traveled the world consulting on IT strategies such as monitoring applications, predicting when these applications would fail, and aligning these applications with a line of business to understand the impact of what it will cost the company during a failure. I worked for clients such as HSBC Bank in Tokyo and London, AT & T, Los Alamos National Laboratories, and Bank of Brazil in South America (Banco do Brasil S.A). I would go on to work for companies such as Mercury Interactive which would later be acquired by Hewlett Packard for $4.5 Billion. During my time at Mercury Interactive/Hewlett Packard, I specialized in Application Discovery and CMDB solutions. Please check out my online resume at
