About Jerry Addie

I am retired from active service of the US Air Force as a Senior Master Sergeant (SMSgt)(E-8) with over 23 years active service. I spent my career in the Air Force split between communications electronics and large missile systems. Stationed on 13 different bases including a stint in the Phillipines and three years in Germany. Presently working as the Senior Lab Manager for the University of WIsconsin-Stout, in the Apparel, Communications and Technologies department. Where I have taught a number of courses over the years. My primary job is as a non-instructional academic staff. I stay involved in the day to day operations of numerous labs in the department along with managing all the student help. This includes maintenance of equipment set up of new equipment, purchasing the bulk of the department supplies and equipment. I am also involved in shared governance on the campus. Presently I am the Past Chair of the Senate of Academic Staff. I serve on numerous committees on campus representing the department and Academic Staff personnel.
