About Jerry Buchanan

I am passionate about modern music and the artists who have created music over the last 4 decades. I have extensive knowledge, understanding, and experience of the bands and musicians within England and America. I am a photographer who has over the last 8 years captured and photographed many of England's finest musicians. I believe that I have the visual eye, and artistic ability to capture the energy and dynamic qualities within a live performance. If given a chance I would like to create a better platform within England which will educate and inform new audiences to one of the most intelligent eras of music 1976-1990. I have traveled extensively within England and the U.K. and have a grasp and understanding of the rivalry and possessive nature each region has within England. London needs a modern museum dedicated to music providing a much needed anchor within today's multimedia environment. A physical structure within London which celebrates, educates, and pays homage to the highly complex lives of musicians and artists and their contribution to music history. I am an educator, a music historian, and archivist. I have the desire and the vision to create and execute a better, robust, and sophisticated multimedia surrounding music history. A new platform for artist and musicians which will balance the need to inform and educate audiences and fans, with the need to honestly engage musicians with honesty, and respect.
