About Jerry-Patrick Chin

After realizing from a very early age that I was not ever going to be a professional basketball player (I can’t make a three pointer for my life) I decided to study marketing and communications in college, ultimately to aid my real talents as a people person. It’s no surprise that now years after I have graduated, I am in my related field doing what I absolutely love: connecting with others. Early on in my career path, I was given the opportunity to explore and intertwine marketing studies with sales. I started out as a marketing intern with tasks such as content writing, and data analyzation, and ended up with much more in-depth strategic assignments creating and demonstrating Omni-Channel Marketing affecting sales. Through my professional roles, i have had experience connecting directly with end consumers, as well as business owners. I’m thankful for the opportunities I have been given to see both sides of this unique position between marketing and sales and its effects in the consumer luxury goods industry. I have grown to become a Retail Relations Supervisor, where I enjoy presenting and explaining the benefits of both print and digital marketing tools to help our network of retailers find success while selling and branding our luxury items. What motivates me the most is realizing that I am able to offer my understanding of current marketing to a retail owner that wants to learn these concepts to maximize the potential of their family owned business. I get as excited in hearing successes and growth from these business owners and look forward to create long term relationships and friends amongst clients. When I am not working, I enjoy the simple things: a good workout, a nice meal, cooking, hanging and watching the sun go down, or winding down on a Sunday with a good Netflix binge session.
