About Jerry Roca

Jerry Roca, originally from Mexico City, is a resourceful individual with a wide range of experience across different industries, which has fostered his self-reliance. His pursuit of raising a family and establishing a thriving business led him to the United States in his early 20s. While balancing the responsibilities of raising three children, Jerry excelled in the construction field as a General Contractor. Overcoming various challenges, he emerged as a successful Visionary, Investor, Real Estate Developer & Adventurer. Throughout his career, Jerry has showcased his expertise in Strategic Planning, Property Research, Acquisition Strategy, Development Strategy for Affordable Housing, Low Income Housing Tax Credits, Project Funding Methods and Historic Tax Credit Projects. As a visionary, he took on the challenge of The Nova OKC project, securing the rights to the property, acquirig and conceptualizing the transformation of a historic Chevrolet Motor Company building from 1921. His grand vision for this endeavor is to revitalize the space, creating a vibrant, healthy, and sustainable environment that benefits the entire community. Jerry's passion for making a positive impact extends beyond real estate. He is the founder and Executive Director of WEARESOCIETY, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting culture and community by providing housing for low-income individuals. The organization also focuses on building community momentum through housing, nutrition, and educational programs for the underserved. Their first significant achievement is scheduled to take place at the end of 2023 with the groundbreaking of a 127-unit affordable housing complex. Additionally, in collaboration with the Homeless Alliance of Oklahoma City, Jerry is leading the development of a 38-unit project specifically designed to support homeless individuals.
