About Jerry Sim

I’m a curious problem-solver who’s spent over 30 years working at the intersection of education, IT, and business operations. My career started in tech—developing systems, managing databases, leading projects—and over time, I found myself drawn to roles that involved translating technical possibilities into practical outcomes. That mindset eventually led me into education, where I’ve spent the last 18 years designing programs, mentoring students, and shaping how we prepare learners for a fast-changing world. I’ve worn many hats: system implementer, project manager, curriculum designer, data analyst, facilitator, mentor. Whether it’s rolling out a campus-wide academic system or guiding a student team on a final-year project, I enjoy helping people and organizations navigate change with clarity and purpose. What keeps me motivated is the chance to work on things that make a difference—whether it's streamlining internal operations, developing new course content, or making technology more accessible for non-technical users. Always open to sharing ideas, learning from others, and exploring how we can bridge the gap between education and real-world skills.
