From 1st line shop supervision to the executive suite over 24 years, I’ve accumulated a broad range of manufacturing operations experiences, including: • Plant Operations • Materials Management • Industrial Engineering • Logistics and Quality • New plant construction, startup, layout, addition • Development of key management personnel in organizational structure and professionalism • Selection and implementation enterprise-wide manufacturing systems • Executive level team player involved with the growth and success of businesses working with those owners I am continuously learning new approaches by becoming: • NIST-Certified Lean Instructor and Practitioner who specializes in Lean Manufacturing improvement techniques such as: Value Stream Mapping & cellular • Lean Certified at the Bronze Level from AME/SME/Shingo Prize • Certified in QRM (Quick Response Manufacturing) • Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) and Integrated Resource Management (CIRM) from APICS Over the last 15 years I’ve applied standardized improvement principles and tactics in a way that's unique to manufacturers and which then becomes ingrained in their culture. I can play an integral part in their growth and success because: • I’ve spent 15+ years as a Senior Manufacturing Specialist for WMEP, assisting hundreds of manufacturing firms in Wisconsin who have reported over $150 million in impact • I paint the “Lean Journey” picture to leadership in assisting them lead a transformation of their business and facilitating the administrative and shop floor staff to improve the organization • I managed Profitable Sustainability initiatives both internally and externally • I’ve consulted, trained participants and facilitated project work in Continuous improvement and problem solving • I’ve consulted in Sales/Operations Planning and Scheduling, • I assisted businesses in Team Building to affect the Culture of an organization.
