About Jesper Elling

I am an empathic creative people leader who worked many years with development of toys and educational hands-on STEAM learning, EdTech. I come with a business eye, is momentum driving, and connect dots (as the organisations state and capabilities, your marked, user needs, technology, time to market, competition, newness, life after launch, roadmap ambitions, brand and values) for new and unexpected solutions. My work and motivation centers around creativity, people leadership, playful learning, making it real in the marked and for the users, technology and fuzzy front end innovation with user and business impact at scale … and making it in a fun, playful, safe and collaborative journey. As Head of multiple product, experience and design endeavours, I have achieved multiple awards (and multiple times) for LEGO as the WorldDidac association award, SIIA Codie award, Danish Design Award to mention some and have been featured in Fast Company and Wired. These innovations have additionally enabled LEGO with multiple patents being obtained. Before engaging in Education, I worked with various project across the toy department of LEGO as LEGO Technic, LEGO Bionicle, LEGO Creator, LEGO Sports and internal future and innovation labs. With the privilige of representing the LEGO brand and innovation within, I have engaged and worked with multiple organisation across the globe as NASA, Raspberry Pi, Vernier, National Instruments, Sensetime, MIT, Google, Discovery Channel. some emerging in fruitful longer lasting collaborations others in inspiring workshops and mutual beneficial sparring.
