About Jesper Holgersen

As a software and systems architect as well as project manager, I have expertise in evaluating, developing, and explaining information technologies. Working with diverse and global teams, I have gained years of experience in participating in and managing projects, including outsourcing, acquisition, and customer projects. I thrive in the field where technical knowledge and customer relations intersect, transferring knowledge to customers, and taking back customer requests and translating these into requirements and tests for the team at home. I have vast experience within the development of communication protocols, API's and embedded software for short-range wireless technologies such as Bluetooth, 802.15.4, and ZigBee, and the long-range wireless technology BGAN. Working as a consultant for the Danish Army my experience also includes enterprise architectures for communication systems used for situational awareness through a battle management system. This includes obtaining user requirements, writing tenders, evaluating the responses, life cycle cost etc, ultimately specifying how to test and evaluate the equipment, leading to a recommendation of procurement for the customer. Years of experience in Industry 4.0 and IoT within logistics, where I consulted and managed global customers from multiple industries in obtaining visibility in their supply chain utilizing REST APIs (DaaS) and/or web-based platform UI (SaaS) for shipment tracking, order, inventory etc. PRINCE2 Foundation certified and certified Project Management Associate (IPMA Level D).
