I have led teams of 16+ and insurance portfolios of $80M.The best thing to happen in my career was being seconded to KPMG’s transformation project for 6 months as the Small Medium sized Enterprise business unit subject matter expert. Using an agile framework to identify specific efficiency opportunities in the underwriting team in Melbourne, we either optimised, automated or eliminated, reducing operational costs significantly and decreasing referral turnaround times. My leadership style is a blend of empathy and decisiveness. I strive to understand the unique strengths and challenges of my team members, allowing me to provide tailored support and guidance. I encourage open communication and actively seek feedback, which not only enhances team dynamics but also drives continuous improvement. I have had success turning around underperforming teams and creating significant shifts for both customers and team. I thrive in collaborative environments where I can work with diverse teams.
