I am a QHSSE Assistant Manager at Moran Towing Corporation, a leading provider of marine towing and transportation services with over 10 years of experience in the maritime industry. I hold a Master of Science in Emergency Services Management from Columbia Southern University, where I learned how to manage disasters, assess risks, and communicate effectively in crisis situations. My core competencies include safety management systems, ISM code, ISO 9001, and OSHA standards for the maritime industry. My mission is to ensure the highest standards of quality, health, safety, security, and environment for our customers, employees, and communities. As a QHSSE Assistant Manager, I conduct internal audits, revise and update procedures and policies, and ensure compliance with Subchapter M regulations. I also leverage my previous experience as a Dry Bulk Operations Coordinator and a Barge Maintenance and Repair Department staff to provide guidance and support to the operations and maintenance teams. I have earned multiple certifications from LinkedIn to enhance my problem-solving, project management, and financial skills.
