About Jess Simpson

With over 13 years of experience in the primary education industry, I am passionate about fostering the holistic development of children through innovative and engaging teaching methods. I am a certified yoga and mindfulness facilitator for children, and I use these practices to enhance the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of my students and colleagues at Reddam House SA, a leading independent school in South Africa. My educational background includes an honors degree in educational psychology and trauma counseling from the University of South Africa. I have applied my knowledge and skills in various settings, such as Ranches Primary School UAE, where I taught year 1 classes and supported the curriculum design and assessment processes. I am also the founder of Your MindfulMentor, a platform that offers online and offline yoga and mindfulness sessions for children and young adults. My mission is to share the benefits of these practices with as many people as possible and to inspire them to live more mindful and meaningful lives.
