Hi there! I’m not active here a lot so if you’d like to see more about what I’m working on, check out linktr.ee/soundbyjess A little about my journey: Ambition and creativity are common factors in my various experiences. From freelancing in the music industry to running my own business, many skills I have gained can translate well across any industry. While freelancing I learned the value of being open to a variety of learning opportunities and meeting new people, which eventually led me to a full-time position as an audio engineer making commercials for national television. While in this position another opportunity arose; to buy and run my Aunt's business where I was raised. As a floral design business owner, I gained a better understanding of how entities are structured and maintained while also considering the needs of my employees and the desires of my customers in a creative environment. Upon realizing I wanted my focus to be on creating rather than managing a creative business, I am now using my collective skills in the world of video game development specializing in audio. The quote on my favorite tea cup says it well "Sometimes on the way to the dream you get lost and find a better one."
