About Jesse Bickerton

As the digital marketing manager at Pearle Hospitality, I'm driving digital growth through strategic planning and execution of email campaigns, paid media, SEO and performance marketing. I oversee digital strategy, working to optimize ROI across platforms, while ensuring brand consistency in online channels. I work alongside marketing leads and property managers to work through marketing initiatives, while identifying opportunities for growth and solving challenges in day-to-day operations. I like to describe myself as a problem solver. I enjoy working with individuals or businesses that have goals or projects that need completing. Having a strong purpose in my work is important. I find that a new perspective can make a world of difference. I have a strong technical background, supported by strong people skills. I love to learn, and can easily lose myself in my work. I thrive in a high-paced environment but am also quite content to slow it down when necessary. My previous experience also has provided me with the opportunity to work alone or with a team, basic managerial experience and real insight on how effective corporations run. I have a background studying civil and industrial engineering from Ryerson University. More recently I have completed courses in Digital Analytics from the Sauder School of Business at UBC and the American Marketing Association's PCM Digital Marketing exam. I'm always interested in hearing from other people regarding past, present or future projects, or even to chat about marketing, gaming, the outdoors or just say to say hi!
