About Jesse Biggio

I graduated from Loyola Marymount University in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, studying Theatre Arts and Film Studies. I have extensive knowledge surrounding performing arts and the entertainment industry. My first year of school was spent studying Communications at Pace University in Manhattan. I learned about important conflict resolution, media relations, and writing for clarity and explanation. At LMU, my film studies minor included a lot of watch-and-critique lesson plans. We watched both amateur and world-renowned films and wrote critical essays surrounding categories including actors’ performances, cinematography, design, writing, and score. Music Industry Experience: I took numerous classes within the recording arts department, there I made connections with people entering the music business and began to develop a strong interest in being involved. I have spent countless hours in recording studios working with other artists and being one myself. I spent 2019 working with a busy music producer, working in his studio and learning about the music industry. I’ve helped multiple artists write songs and develop tracks; I have a deep respect for musicians and an appreciation for all genres. I worked as a producer's assistant in 2019 where I gained an understanding of music publishing, copyright procedures, and artist promotion. Here's a link to the work I've created: linktr.ee/posiepocketmusic Journalism Experience: In high school I began to learn about critical writing for the stage and now have seven years of experience as an amateur theatre critic and informant for local theatre news from continuing that work throughout my college experience. I was awarded the Youth Journalism Award from Arts and Motion Theatre Company and was also nominated to compete in KCACTF as a featured writer for my dramaturg work on a production called All That He Was in 2016. Theatre/Acting/Film Experience: In 2017, I was an assistant for a theatrical acting agent where I submitted actors to jobs in LA, closed various casting deals, and was the main point of contact for all clients. During my time at LMU, I worked on film sets as a production assistant, boom operator, and an actor. I have over ten years of theatrical training and four years of film acting experience, working on mainly independent film projects and multiple web series.
