About Jesse Brand

I like to think of myself as a lead developer who generally spends more time working on architecture and coaching and training peers than developing software myself, although that still really holds my interest. I am always learning, visiting meetups and conferences, and approach most parts of my life in an agile way, both professionally and personally. I also like to help organisations in implementing more agile ways of working. I am honed for my analytical skills and can do very well in dealing with requirements from different sources and creating a clear picture based on the data available, while maintaining the bigger picture and having a clear view of where we as a team and organisation are heading. I have a lot of experience in coaching and training others, both professional and person. I have been a speaker on several meetups, summits and conferences. I usually take it upon myself to get things done, whether it is expected of me or not. In my free time I like to work on my own hobby projects. I also have a keen interest in VR and rocket science. I have a high-end VR set at home and like to use it for both gaming and developing software myself. I work out a lot, working on my freerunning skills and organising weekly medieval swordfighting training sessions.
