I have represented all sorts of clients-individuals, nonprofits, small businesses, and Fortune 500 companies-and have litigated cases in state and federal courts in New Jersey, New York, and several other courts across the country, as well as in arbitrations before the American Arbitration Association and FINRA. My litigation experience includes class actions, complex commercial disputes, consumer complaints, franchise disputes, misappropriation of intellectual property, unfair competition, restrictive covenants, landlord-tenant issues involving residential and commercial leases. Recently I have been taking on more cases involving the welfare of nonhuman animals, an issue that has long been of immense importance to me. Animals deserve respect and protection by our laws and need zealous advocacy by lawyers. As part of my practice I also prepare wills, trusts, and other estate planning instruments, and partner with professionals who can assist clients with insurance, Medicaid planning, and other financial planning.
