About Jesse Doan

I am a mechanical engineering student at San Jose State University, currently maintaining a 3.87 GPA. During my time at San Jose State University, I have been able to reinforce my love for engineering through a variety of projects, spanning from, local elementary school visits to share the wonders of engineering, to miniature wind turbine construction and testing. Through these experiences, I have leveraged my strong work ethic and aptitude to learn to practice and build upon my skills in teamwork, archival research, and computer-aided design, among many others. I am a team player, willing to listen to and adapt to the strengths and weaknesses of my peers and fulfill whatever role is necessary, even if it requires me to learn new skills from scratch. On a personal note, I enjoy building computers. Using online resources, I have taught myself about the process of picking out parts, the actual construction of the computer, and troubleshooting. So far, I have built 3 different computers, all of which have tested my ability to identify, study, and resolve issues.
