About Jesse Forbes

Jesse Forbes is a highly successful litigation attorney focusing his efforts on serious civil representation. He was recently part of a legal team that recovered $51.9 million dollars for a group of child abuse survivors in West Virginia. Jesse has extensive courtroom experience in a wide range of cases from multi-million dollar civil cases to serious criminal cases, crime victim representation, wrongful death and serious permanent injury. Jesse secured his first multi-million dollar verdict for an injured client before he was 30 years old. Though wide ranging, his practice has always emphasized the representation of child abuse and neglect survivors. Jesse began his career serving as a child abuse and neglect prosecutor and later as a guardian ad litem for abused children. Jesse has represented individuals, businesses and other entities in many areas though his focus has remained on litigation. In addition, Jesse has been appointed as a Special Commissioner in Court proceedings; a Mental Hygiene Commissioner; a member of the West Virginia Supreme Court’s Juvenile Justice Commission, a Special Assistant Attorney General for West Virginia, and serves as a member of many other boards and commissions.Jesse has been honored by Superlawyers, maintains an AV rating from Martindale, and has been named a Top 100 Civil Attorney by the National Trial Lawyers among other recognition.
