About Jesse Frey

I am a Loss Prevention Specialist working at Heartland Credit Union, interested in technology, business operations, and finance. I have over 2 years of experience working in financial services and am always looking to improve processes and automate tasks using technology. I am an Excel expert, familiar with SQL, Power BI, and I also plan to sharpen my Python skills at some point. What's more important than the technical stuff however is the fact that I have great, unteachable soft skills. Writing code and learning new software is easy, but knowing what questions need to be answered and how to present the data is another story. I've worked in customer service roles for most of my career and have become an excellent communicator as a result. I firmly believe that one can be successful in most jobs out there simply by being a great communicator. If you know how to listen, ask the right questions, and anticipate needs, you can do just about anything.
