About Jesse Gilbert

My work experience originated far before my first job at FedEx. Since early school years, diligent hard work granted me a constant GPA of 4.0 until my senior year in high school. I have been involved with band since the sixth grade, and my accomplishments throughout my music career are the greatest indicator of my capability to improve and learn. I have been the section leader for both marching and symphony style bands, which each require different methods of teaching. This speaks on my ability to adapt to different environments and determine what type of directives or plan must be implemented for any given situation. Also, leading many people is a simple task, as my time as a section leader and a Ramp Agent prepared me to communicate effectively, plan accordingly, and act efficiently with a group requiring differing roles and functions. Music career aside, there are many desirable traits that make me the perfect hiring candidate. Communication is my forte, as I have a knack for knowing the needs and wants of employees and managers, finding the middle ground in workplace issues, deescalating any disagreements, giving directives, and using respect and encouragement to improve productivity. I work well on my own as well, and do not require constant supervision to complete tasks. I do daily paperwork and filing at FedEx, which requires 100% accuracy. Lastly, my passions for technological advancement and competency make me the perfect man to work with and on computers. Computer programs are easily decipherable, so tasks that take some an hour could take me ten minutes in front of a keyboard. I'm familiar with running and compiling reports for managers and simplifying/organizing documentation for review. Any information you provide me, I can learn. Any skill you assign me, I can master. Any obstacle that is presented, I can overcome.
