About Jesse Horner

I have worked in the National Park Hospitality Industry since I was 14 years old. I worked summers in Yosemite National Park as I was growing up, in many different jobs that spanned many different departments. I have also worked in the Grand Canyon and Yellowstone to complete the big three in the National Parks. I have worked for the two biggest Corporations that run concessions for the National Park Service with Delaware North and Xanterra. I additionally have worked for Aramark and Ortega National Parks in Crater Lake, Lassen Volcanic, and Mammoth Cave National Parks. These environments are fast pace and demand the most out of all employees. Occupancy is near or at 100% every day through most of the summer season and an empty room is lost revenue. Efficient F&B service is also key to maximize revenue. Retail is a huge part of the National Park guest experience as well, with tens of thousands of dollars being made every day. Specialties: I am incredibly gifted at talking to guests and making sure that their experience is an exceptional one. I am also very gifted at leading a team and getting employees on board while achieving our goals according to company policies and procedures. With the use of my degree in Mathematics I have been continually successful in beating finacial and budget goals.
