Context | Ideation | Analytical | Adaptability | Positivity | I am a veteran, transitioning this summer. Looking to stay in the Eastern North Carolina area. As of now, I am staying in the defense industry as an intelligence subject matter expert. Why? To be the compass, so that others can navigate safely. I enjoy sharing my past experiences and lessons learned, so that others can apply it to their challenges and opportunities. I believe in breaking the status quo 1) The knowledge I gain from past events and subject matter experts makes the discovery process of new ideas and solutions more exciting. 2) As I move through the day, I am flexible enough to handle unexpected issues and situations outside the norm. I always stay positive 3) I take time to reflect on what people say, reaching conclusions only after thoughtfully weighing the information, rather than reacting to the moment. 4) I easily put people at ease with a smile and can infuse a spirit of fun into meetings and work related projects. Team always comes first 5) Because of my positive outlook, my team often turns to me when they find themselves struggling for new ideas. 6) I’m tuned in to people and can figure out what they are saying or thinking and incorporate their ideas in to plans to generate buy-in. Focus on mission 7) I intensify mine and others capacity to see the bigger picture. 8) I think outside the box to generate new ideas or creative solutions, then take a logical and objective approach before making a decision and moving forward.
