With nearly 19 years of experience in the construction and ISM industries, I bring a wealth of knowledge in site management and project coordination. Over the past two years, I have honed my skills as a Project Coordinator at EllisDon, where I play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of large-scale projects from inception to completion. My responsibilities at EllisDon include: Requesting and responding to RFIs (Requests for Information). Reviewing shop drawings. Reviewing and identifying potential issues with 80% drawings before issuance of IFCs. Assisting in the creation of comprehensive project budgets. Participating in value engineering initiatives to meet owner’s budget constraints. Supporting project startups by vetting trades, bid leveling, and ensuring readiness for execution. Overseeing project completion stages by compiling Operations and Maintenance (O&M) manuals and assisting with final payments and holdbacks from owners and trades. Prior to EllisDon, I spent over 16 years specializing in interior and exterior steel stud framing, drywall, and finishing for multifamily residential and commercial buildings. Notable projects include the Stantec Tower in Edmonton, Cove Towers Vetro/Alura/NuEra, Omicron Gilcrest, Bucci Kensington, and Bucci Dominion. My administrative expertise encompassed: Processing timesheets, submitting hours, and managing invoices for employee pay. Handling progress billing, change orders, and backcharges. Leveraging tools like Microsoft Excel, OneNote, and BIM 360 Field to streamline workflows, manage transactions, and track deficiencies. I have also demonstrated hands-on technical proficiency, managing quality control procedures and completing all aspects of interior systems mechanics when required, for projects with drywall contracts exceeding $20 million.
